Surrounded on three sides by a sheer mountain cliff covered in trees and waterfalls, Beltine is a closed in paradise. An expanse of land that strechs for miles on a flat horizon is covered in long flowing green grass and the occasional tree. Rivers and creeks cut their way through the grass that come from the waterfalls from the mountain side. Wolves here are natural born runners and enjoy the feeling of the earth moving beneath them as they cover miles. The pack boundaries stretch for miles, giving the pack plenty of hours and days in which to run. Bear and elk are abundant here and these wolves never go hungry. Winters are calm seeing as how none of the horrific snow storms from the mountains have enough momentum to take out the valley. Wolves here are fiercely protective of their territories but are not hostile. They will accept all but demand obedience because in this huge land, if you get lost, there's more than just wolves in the night...

At one of the many waterfalls that litter the lands, a small cavern has been formed. Water rushes through a hole in the top and pools into a pool in the cavern. It's always cool in here and the natural sun roof provides an excellant place for relaxation or a romantic evening. The water is deep so becareful bringing your pups here.

Far to the north, where the snows actually stay all year round, a natural hot spring has become a prime hang out area. Many wolves bring their families here for a day or so to just have fun. The water is deep and the deeper you go, the hotter it gets. Watch your pups here.

Deep within the mountains, hidden by the dark fog that seems to magically be tainted red, lay a dark force. The Irrustus pack, the killer mongrels, call this place home. These wolves are not to be messed with, as they are the true meaning of death. Hidden in the shadows, waiting to leap out at any moment. The law is strict, and disobedience is not dealt with lightly. If the jagged mountains are not enough to keep intruders out, the broad forest will be. Every minute seems like midnight, as the trees are so thick and close together that not a single drop of light can be seen in most areas. The red fog tends to cover the forest floor, giving an even more magical effect to the land. There are roots and logs that are very hard to see, and very easy to trip over. Everything seems to be a trap, one that is too easy to fall into.

Because of all the trees and masses of ferns, Silent Glade is very silent. When a stick cracks, it sounds like an explosion that seems to echo for miles. There is hardly any wind and it seems as though all animals have left. The fact is, the ferns mute everything. This place is abundant with animals and all sorts of food but because of the eerie silence, wolves tend to avoid this place.

Take a detoir past the mountains of Beltine and enter the muddy lagoon where water runs fresh and clean through the forests and through the river. It's only called Muddy Lagoon because once the tides reside, where the water was beneath the trees is only thick mud that could coat any wolf in minutes. When the tide is high, the water only comes up to about chest height and it's warm year round.
